Former Big Brother Naija housemate Zion Ogiefa, also known as Zinwe, has clarified his earlier comments about his girlfriend and BBNaija teammate, Chinwe Elibe. During an appearance on the Outsyd by Pulse show, Zion addressed the confusion surrounding his statement that Chinwe was “not completely my spec.”
Zion explained that his remark was intended to refer to physical attributes rather than emotional or personal qualities. He admitted that his usual preference is for light-skinned women, but he emphasized that his relationship with Chinwe goes beyond physical appearance.
“I said that she wasn’t completely my spec but I was talking mainly physically. Normally, based on my track record, I usually go for light-skinned girls,” Zion said.
Despite this, Zion highlighted that his connection with Chinwe was deeply rooted in their mental and emotional compatibility. “Meeting Chinwe and being with her, I don’t think the physical mattered much to us coming together. I fell for her and we both fell for each other based on the mental and in-depth aspects of each other.”
He praised Chinwe for her inner and outer beauty, stating, “For her, she is a lovely person inside and outside. So I could see and I could feel that inside her, she’s a lovely person. So I meant my spec on the outside.”
Zion’s comments were made to address concerns and misunderstandings among fans following his remarks during BBNaija Season 9.
