“WHY DO MEN CALL YOU AN ASH*WO WHEN YOU REJECT THEM?” – CARAMEL PLUG QUESTIONS THE OPPOSITE GENDER

< 1 mn read

Caramel Plug, the skitmaker and influential figure, recently took to her Instagram page to raise a question directed at Nigerian men and men in general. She wondered why men resort to slut-shaming women who reject their advances or question them. In her statement, she pondered, “why do men call you an ashawo or an olosho once you reject them?” She further suggested that they would only use such derogatory terms for a woman that they would also use for their own mothers, implying a deep irony in their actions.

In February 2024, Caramel Plug shared her perspective on the current dating scene, expressing that there seemed to be a scarcity of viable options. She advised individuals contemplating rekindling relationships with their exes to go ahead, emphasizing the apparent dry spell in the dating landscape. She also disclosed the emotional and mental strain she was experiencing while navigating multiple talking stages in her own dating life.

This discussion followed Tolani Baj’s support for those considering reconciling with their former partners.

Additionally, in 2023, Caramel Plug put an end to speculation about her age during an honest conversation with Tea With Tay. She clarified that despite public assumptions, she was only 23 years old, highlighting the pressure she faces due to people’s high expectations.

However, her revelation prompted varied responses from netizens across social media platforms.

In January 2024, Caramel Plug criticized women who showed interest in their friends’ partners, condemning such behavior as distasteful. She questioned the morality of feeling attracted to a friend’s romantic interest, emphasizing the importance of loyalty in friendships. She asserted that once a friend has been involved with a man, it is inappropriate to pursue any form of interaction or attraction toward him.
