In a groundbreaking initiative that merges entertainment with social advocacy, Wakanow has joined forces with influencers Enioluwa Adeoluwa and Tomike Adeoye to support the production of All of Us, a new series aimed at addressing critical youth social issues.
The series explores the challenges faced by young people, particularly concerning friendship, sexual assault, and the pressures of secondary school life. This partnership highlights Wakanow’s commitment to addressing significant social issues affecting youth across Nigeria and Africa, emphasizing the role of storytelling in sparking important conversations and driving societal change.
“Wakanow is dedicated to more than just facilitating travel; we are deeply invested in the lives and futures of the communities we serve,” said Olamide Odusola, Vice President of Marketing at Wakanow. “By supporting All of Us, we are contributing to a crucial dialogue that encourages young people to confront and navigate their daily challenges.”
The series premiered on Friday, August 30, at IMAX Cinema in Lekki, Lagos, featuring a stellar cast that includes Nollywood stars such as Chioma Akpotha, Shaffy Bello, Kate Henshaw, and Iyabo Ojo. The show aims to bring to life the intense and often challenging experiences of adolescence.
Enioluwa Adeoluwa, one of the creative minds behind the series, expressed appreciation for Wakanow’s involvement: “Partnering with Wakanow is about more than just financial support; it’s about aligning with a brand that understands the importance of the issues we are addressing. Together, we hope to create a platform that will inspire conversations and motivate young people across Africa to become agents of change.”
Through this collaboration, Wakanow, Enioluwa Adeoluwa, and Tomike Adeoye are fostering dialogue, understanding, and ultimately, social transformation.
