– Upon reaching Samunaka, evidence of recent bandit activities including destruction of settlements and cattle slaughter was observed.
– A fierce battle ensued, involving artillery rounds at Hayin Almajiri, where the terrorists attempted an ambush against the advancing troops.

– The engagement resulted in the elimination of at least 36 bandits, including the confirmed neutralization of Buharin Yadi.
