“Super Eagles’ AFCON 2025 Qualifiers Camp Opens in Uyo with Seven Players Reporting Early”

Seven players, including captain William Troost-Ekong, Ademola Lookman, Taiwo Awoniyi, and Ola Aina, have arrived at the Super Eagles’ camp in Uyo ahead of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers. Olisa Ndah, Semi Ajayi, and Fisayo Dele-Bashiru also joined the squad on Monday morning. Caretaker head coach Augustine Eguavoen has called up 23 players for the upcoming matches against Benin Republic and Rwanda. Nigeria will face Benin Republic in Uyo on Saturday before traveling to Kigali for the second match next Tuesday. More players are expected to join the camp soon.
