SINGER FLAVOUR GRIEVES AS HE LOSES HIS FATHER, SHARES EMOTIONAL VIDEO

Nigerian singer Chinedu Okoli, better known as Flavour, has sadly lost his beloved father.

The singer shared the heartbreaking news on his Twitter page just minutes ago, accompanied by a touching throwback video of him singing to his father.

In his caption, he affectionately called his father “Papa Ijele” and wished him a peaceful rest.

“Nna m. Papa Ijele. Rest well”.

Many of his fans flooded his comment section with condolence messages

A few days ago, actress Faithia Williams mourned the loss of her father. She shared the sad news on her Instagram page, expressing her sorrow over his passing and offering prayers for his soul to rest in peace.

Following her announcement, fellow Nollywood artists such as Tawa Ajisefinni, Foluke Daramola Salako, Bimpe Akintunde, Joke Silva, Yinka Quadri, and others offered their condolences to Faithia Williams.

In December 2023, Chizzy Alichi also experienced the loss of her beloved father, which prompted her to take a break from social media. She spoke about how his passing had turned her life upside down, particularly grieving his inability to witness the birth of his grandchildren.

Similarly, actress Mimi Orjiekwe bid farewell to her father, Ozo Dr. Thomas Chukwuike Orjiekwe, after a brief illness. In a press statement, she expressed the profound pain and emptiness they felt due to his passing and how deeply they would miss him.

Adding to the sorrow, Mercy Johnson Okojie lamented the loss of her father, describing it as her greatest pain. As a mother of four, she vowed to continue questioning God for the rest of her life about why He took her father away.
