The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has denied the validity of an online publication claiming that recruitment is underway for the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS).
In a statement issued by the Secretary to the Board, Mr. Ja’afaru Ahmed, it was clarified that the information did not originate from the board and should therefore be disregarded. The statement also cautioned the public to be vigilant against fake recruitment syndicates and racketeers.
The board did confirm, however, that recruitment into the Federal Fire Service (FFS) is currently in progress. Shortlisted candidates will be fully informed of the next stage of the process through the phone numbers and email addresses provided during their registration.
