Nollywood actress Uche Ogbodo has addressed critics of her age after giving in to the wishes of her husband and senior colleagues.
Kemi Filani reported that Uche Ogbodo had a confrontation with a troll who doubted she was 38 and hoped she had been truthful about her age with her husband.
In response, Uche expressed her disgust at the troll’s comments, questioning what was wrong with her and stating that she was already a star while the troll was still sleeping.
To prove her age, Uche shared a photo of her passport bio-data showing she is indeed 38.
However, on Instagram, the actress explained she removed the post at her husband’s request and because some senior colleagues advised her to do so.
She proclaimed that she is blessed in every way, having achieved more than her peers through hard work. She also told those upset by her success to “go hug a transformer” and pointed out that it wasn’t her fault that her critics didn’t become stars early in their lives.
“I deleted my post because my hubby didn’t like it and some of my Senior colleagues asked me to, cos really what’s the point!
I am just a blessed child in all ramifications!
I have the best of everything! And I hustle harder than my age mates.
