Recently evicted Big Brother Naija housemate Fairme David has clarified that his intention for joining the reality show was not to find a romantic partner. During an interview on Outsyd by Pulse, Fairme explained that his primary focus was to present his authentic self rather than engage in relationships.
Fairme stated, “I didn’t go into that house to find love. Love is not my problem, so I went there to show who Fairme is.” He noted that while some contestants used relationships as a strategic move to gain popularity or win the show, he had no interest in feigning romantic connections.
“If I had developed feelings for someone in the house, I would have pursued it. But I didn’t want to pretend for Nigerians or for Africa. I wanted any potential romance to be genuine, not forced,” he added.
Fairme acknowledged that while there were many attractive women in the house, none fit his personal preference. “I didn’t see anyone that was really my spec; yes, I didn’t see anyone like that. But they were all beautiful women in that house,” he said.
