Dayyabu Garga, a former commissioner under Plateau State’s ex-governor Simon Lalong, has resigned from the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Garga, who served as Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Urban Development, and later as Chairman of Kanam Local Government, notified his departure in a letter addressed to his Garga ward in Kanam. The letter expressed his gratitude to the APC for the opportunities it provided but did not specify reasons for his departure.
Although Garga did not announce his next political move, sources suggest he may be joining the rival People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
