Football pundit, Alan Smith has heaped praises on Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes after the Red Devils defeated Newcastle United 3-2 in the Premier League on Wednesday.
Smith said the Portuguese midfielder was everywhere on the pitch against Newcastle.
Fernandes returned from injury to bag an assist as Erik ten Hag’s side defeated Newcastle at Old Trafford.
In his absence, Man United suffered back-to-back losses against Crystal Palace and Arsenal in the league.
Speaking about Fernandes, Smith told Sky Sports:
“He has been everywhere tonight, Bruno Fernandes.
“Great footballing intelligence wherever he’s on the pitch.”
