Al Nassr striker Cristiano Ronaldo has hinted at a possible return to the Champions League, sparking speculation about his future in the competition. The hint came during Thursday’s league phase draw, where Ronaldo was honored for being the all-time top scorer in Champions League history with 140 goals.
When UEFA President Aleksander Čeferin remarked on Ronaldo’s absence from the competition, Ronaldo responded, “I play in the Asian [Champions] League, don’t forget that.” He expressed gratitude for the award and reflected on the significance of the Champions League, stating, “It’s the highest in football… The pleasure to play that competition.
