Bishop Oyedepo, founder of Living Faith Church, recently shared the secrets behind his church’s prosperity during a sermon. He explained that his church has consistently been ready to donate relief to countries in need, such as Liberia and Sierra Leone, as well as during local crises like the Ikeja bomb blast. He mentioned that the Red Cross recognized Living Faith Church as one of the largest donors during these times. Oyedepo attributed the church’s success to the seeds of generosity sown in the past, which are now bearing fruit.
In early May 2024, Bishop Oyedepo issued a stern warning to “Yahoo Boys” during a sermon on April 28. He cautioned that their fast lifestyle would ultimately lead to bitterness and destruction, emphasizing that deceitful actions have no future in the kingdom. He reminded them of the law of sowing and reaping, warning that they would eventually face the consequences of their actions.
Additionally, Bishop Oyedepo’s son recently sparked mixed reactions online after confessing that he once struggled with pornography. He recalled how his struggle began during a trip abroad when he turned on the TV. Fortunately, he overcame it quickly with God’s help. He noted that many people still struggle with such issues and expressed a wish that he had found someone to help him earlier.
