It is no secret that Jesse Lingard is a huge fan of Afrobeats.
The 31-year-old former Manchester United star immediately made his feelings clear about the new album by Afrobeats superstar, Tems.
Temilade Openiyi popularly known by her stage name “Tems” released her debut studio album, “Born in the Wild” on June 7 and so far the project has enjoyed positive reviews from fans and music lover alike.Lingard took to his official Snapchat account to share clips himself vibing to Tems’ new album, as the former Red Devils star jammed up to songs like “Hold On” and “Wickedest” in his car.Having departed Nottingham Forest at the end of the 2022/23 season, Lingard is currently signed to South Korean K Leagueclub FC Seoul.After a 2–0 victory against Jeju United FC on 16 March 2024, Lingard was publicly criticised by FC Seoul’s head coach, Kim Gi-dong, citing a lack of effort and physicality.
Lingard appeared for 105 minutes during FC Seoul’s first six games of the season, before undergoing knee surgery.
Prior to his career in Asia, Lingard had shone in the Premier League, having made appearances for Manchester United — where he had his breakthrough and won the FA Cup, EFL Cup, Community Shield and Europa League, as well as West Ham United.
