Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State recently expressed gratitude to President Bola Tinubu for two significant gestures. First, he thanked President Tinubu for honoring the paramount ruler of Ijebuland, Oba Sikiru Adetona, with the prestigious Grand Commander of the Order of the Niger (GCON) during the monarch’s 90th birthday celebrations. Second, Abiodun appreciated Tinubu for directing the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies in Kuru, Jos, to manage the Oba Sikiru Adetona School of Governance Studies at Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye.

Abiodun conveyed this appreciation during a visit to President Tinubu at the Presidential Villa. He highlighted the significance of the federal delegation’s attendance at the commissioning ceremony of the Sikiru Adetona School of Governance, which marked the 90th birthday and 64th coronation anniversary of the Awujale. The governor emphasized the importance of these actions in fostering development and collaboration between the federal government and Ogun State.
