AFCON 2025 Qualifiers: Benin Republic Gears Up for Super Eagles Clash, Sets Up Camp in Abidjan.

The Cheetahs of Benin Republic have commenced their preparations for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers with a focus on upcoming matches against Nigeria and Libya. The team has established their training camp at the Sofitel Hotel in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire.

Head coach Gernot Rohr has called up 25 players for the qualifiers. The Cheetahs will first face the Super Eagles at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo on Saturday. Following this, they will take on Libya at the Félix Houphouët-Boigny Stadium in Abidjan in their matchday two fixture next Tuesday.
