Akwa United Declares Samuel Ganda AWOL After Two-Month Absence
Akwa United has officially declared Samuel Ganda ‘Absent Without Official Leave’ (AWOL) after the player failed to return to the team two months following their resumption. The club’s media director, Mfon Patrick, confirmed in a social media statement that Ganda, who is contracted with the Promise Keepers until 2025, has been missing from team activities. Akwa United has informed the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL), and all football clubs about the situation. Ganda joined the former NPFL champions at the start of the 2023-24 season.
