Gunmen believed to be Boko Haram insurgents attacked Mafa village in Tarmuwa Local Government Area of Yobe, looting and burning shops and houses.
ATTACK DETAILS: The attackers, who arrived on over 50 motorcycles, used rifles and RPGs in the assault, resulting in numerous casualties. The exact number of fatalities has not yet been confirmed.
OTHER INCIDENTS: The terrorists also distributed fliers with Arabic inscriptions. Earlier, terrorists attacked a private school in neighboring Geidam, resulting in the death of three students and injuries to one.
