Nigerian female pilgrim dies in Saudi hospital after brief illness

A female pilgrim from Kaduna State, Hajiya Asma’u Muhammad-Ladan, passed away at the King Fahad Hospital in Makkah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on Friday following a brief illness. This unfortunate incident was confirmed in a statement issued by the Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the Kaduna State Pilgrims Welfare Agency, Malam Yunusa Muhammad-Abdullahi, to newsmen in Arfat on Saturday.

The statement provided details that although the PRO did not specify her Local Government of origin, the deceased pilgrim had been registered at the agency’s headquarters. It further conveyed that the family of Hajiya Asma’u Muhammad-Ladan has been duly informed about her demise. Additionally, the management and staff of the Kaduna State Pilgrims Welfare Agency extended their heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family during this difficult time.
