The official opening of the new Labule Restaurant in Ikorodu on June 8, 2024, marked a significant milestone for Roots Foods Limited, the parent company of Labule Restaurants. Binta Adisa, the Managing Director and Chief Chef, emphasized the company’s unwavering commitment to maintaining the highest standards of local delicacies offered to its esteemed customers.

The event was graced by esteemed dignitaries including His Royal Majesty, Oba Abdulkabir Shotobi, the Ayangburen of Ikorodu, who commended Roots Foods Limited for choosing Ikorodu as a location for their enterprise. Oba Shotobi highlighted the positive impact of the restaurant in terms of job creation and economic growth for the area. He also underscored the significance of the restaurant in promoting Nigerian culture and identity, urging all Nigerians to connect with their roots through such initiatives.

Speaking at the occasion, Binta Adisa expressed gratitude for the community’s warm reception and explained that the decision to open another Labule outlet in Ikorodu was driven by the increasing demand for authentic local cuisines among residents. She emphasized Labule’s decade-long dedication to promoting Nigerian identity and culture through its culinary offerings.
