Bendel Insurance head coach, Monday Odigie, has blamed missed chances for his team’s goalless draw with Abia Warriors.

Odigie claimed that his team went into game without the mindset of securing maximum points.

The gaffer, however, commended his players for their performance in the game.

“It was a very keenly contested game because Abia Warriors were very determined to win,” he told the club’s media in a post-match interview.

“Football is a game of chance; it can be painful if you don’t take it.

“We played to our strengths, but we failed to convert the chances we created.”

Bendel Insurance dropped down to ninth position on the league table
