Big Brother Naija star Tolani Baj shared how she balances her independence with being in a relationship, revealing that she often has to remind herself to embrace her “feminine energy.” Speaking with Clout Radio, she discussed how she manages being an independent woman while still allowing a man to take the lead in a relationship.
“When I don’t have a guy in my life, I’m in my masculine energy. I do everything with or without a man. But when I do have a man in my life, I let him take the lead and constantly remind myself to relax in my feminine energy,” she explained.
Tolani Baj emphasized that she lets the man handle tasks she would otherwise do herself if she were single. “Even if I know how to do something, I’d still pretend to be a damsel in distress and ask, ‘Hey babe, how do you do that?’ when I can actually do it. If it’s changing a tire, I can learn it,” she said, laughing. “But I just let men take the lead when they’re in my life. If they’re not, I step into that role like a boss.”
