Portable criticizes Vector after misinterpreting the rapper’s lyrics as a diss.

Portable expresses frustration after misunderstanding a line from Vector’s song as a diss directed at him. The Nigerian street hop artist, also known as Zazzu, took to Instagram Live on June 5, 2024, to voice his anger towards Vector, alleging that the rapper had dissed him with the line “Lion King no be Zazu.” During the live session, Portable asserted his status as a bigger star than Vector and suggested that Vector would need his help with a chorus to create a hit song.

However, Portable’s frustration towards Vector appears to be unfounded, as the “Zazu” referenced in Vector’s lyrics likely refers to the character from the Disney animation movie ‘The Lion King,’ rather than Portable himself.

This incident adds to Portable’s reputation for making headlines with his outspoken behavior. Previously, he engaged in a public dispute with Nigerian socialite and cross-dresser Bobrisky over the latter winning the Best Dressed Woman award at a movie premiere. Additionally, Portable made news recently for evading arrest by jumping a fence to escape Nigerian Police over unpaid fees for his G Wagon Brabus.

Despite his controversies, Portable continues to enjoy success as an artist, as demonstrated by his recent hit collaboration with Skepta titled ‘Tony Montana.’
