Veteran actress Rita Edochie has issued a warning to Yul Edochie and others who have been indirectly criticizing the late Junior Pope.

Earlier today, Kemi Filani reported that Yul Edochie took to Instagram to explain why he did not mourn Junior Pope publicly. Yul revealed that he chose to remain silent until after the burial. He mentioned that people questioned him for not attending the burial or making a statement about Junior Pope’s death. According to Yul, he considered Junior Pope a brother and a good friend, supporting him in times of need. However, he claimed that Junior Pope betrayed him multiple times. Yul promised to share more details so others could learn from his experience, and warned people to be cautious about their wishes for others, as it might backfire. His comments were met with backlash from netizens for their perceived insensitivity.

Rita Edochie, clearly upset by Yul’s remarks, responded on her Instagram page with some pointed quotes and personal reflections. She expressed that some things are better left unsaid and wished for the soul of Junior Pope to rest in peace, noting that he has not been allowed to rest since his death.

She lamented the inability of the deceased to defend themselves and stated that the human heart can be as hard as stone. Rita emphasized that Junior Pope’s reputation remained untarnished during his life and would continue to be so in death.
